ShoZu - is a Photo & Video Uploading Application for Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, HTC, O2, Blackberry, Apple iPhone, I-Mate phones and all others.
I hardly use my Nokia E61i for taking pictures as I have a separate digicam for photography, but for others who love taking pictures and videos with their phones *ShoZu* is a fantastic free application to use!
*ShoZu* isn't just a Photo & Video uploading software, but it's an application which also lets you stay connected with people through a lot of different features like viewing your friends' "Status Updates" in Facebook, ability to Subscribe to Friends Feeds, read & post in Twitter etc.
Remember that when you add Facebook to ShoZu, it will send an email to you asking if you allow it. So, it won't start working till you validate it.
Check out the list of websites *ShoZu* works with at the end of this post, and by clicking on the links you'll get to read what features ShoZu offers with each of those websites.
I haven't tried all of them, as there are just too many!
I tried *ShoZu* out earlier with my Flickr Account and it makes uploading pictures from the phone to the web a breeze. I could also read and reply to comments which was fun. The initial settings take some time, but after that everything is just as simple as a click. :)
One feature which I really liked, but could not try as I don't have a GPS device, was the *GPS Tagging*. If you have *Built-In GPS* in your phone or if you have a *GPS device* connected to your phone, then enabling *GPS Tagging* in *ShoZu* will allow it to stamp all your pictures and videos with your Geographical Location Coordinates as you take them (where satallite signals are available). Now that is a really useful feature. No need to remember where the picture was taken as ShoZu does it all for you.
Everytime I took a pic or video, or even if I transferred a video to my phone from the computer, ShoZu gave a prompt asking if I wanted to transfer it to my Youtube or Flickr account. It got a little annoying as I don't always upload my stuff, so I fixed this by going to *ShoZu> Options> Go to> Settings> Sending> Sending New Photos* and changed the *'Ask Before Sending'* option to *'Don't Send'*.
For people who are constantly sharing their photos with friends & family through the web, the *'Auto Send'* feature is a brilliant thing, as then they won't have to open up the application everytime they want to upload a pic. When *ShoZu* says it makes uploading as easy as *One-Click or Zero-Click*, it really means it!
